ESIC Medical College , Rourkela - Trade Unions, Various Organization’s Support

Today, the civil society of Rourkela has come together representing various organizations including the ones who are directly associated with ESIC. A joint memorandum was signed in front of ADM office at Rourkela and a copy was submitted to the Rourkela ADM. Many copies of this memorandum were also submitted to various Govt. Department , policy makers and media in demand of setting ESIC Medical College and Hospital at Rourkela.

Various leaders/secretary/president from CITU, Hindu Mazdoor Sangh, All India Trade Unions, Rourkela Shramik Sangh, Rourkela Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rourkela Press Club, Rourkela Bar Association have strongly supported this cause and demanded that if there is any place in Odisha that deserves ESIC Medical College and Hospital, then that is Rourkela , the best choice.

    This is an excellent move by the civil society of Rourkela. Democrary prevails and must bring result. Hope the genuine reasons to have the ESIC medical at Rourkela must convince the Govt. and the Govt. apart from becoming capital centric development, should start becomig Rest of Odisha Centric development as well.

    yes any oriya people can say Rourkela is most deserved location for esi medical college . There is no doubt .
